About the Founder
Hi there! I’m Dave, the founder of both Reel Fly Fishers and Angler Area. My fishing journey began over 20 years ago in Europe and has taken me across ponds, lakes, and streams in Canada and beyond.
Like many anglers, I started with spin fishing but eventually fell in love with the art of fly fishing. This passion led me to create Reel Fly Fishers, born from the desire to make quality fly fishing gear accessible to everyone.
My angling adventures have taught me that fishing is more than just catching fish – it’s about connecting with nature, finding inner peace, and continuously learning. Through Reel Fly Fishers and Angler Area, I aim to share this perspective with fellow fishing enthusiasts.
